Our Board of Trustees

We have an exceptional Board of Trustees that provide strategic governance and oversight for all of the work Growing21 Development Trust undertakes, for the benefit of the local community. 

Growing21 Development Trust current board members either live, or work locally and are invested in seeing Ruchazie evolve - environmentally, economically and socially.  Importantly, our board members often get involved in the life of Ruchazie community by attending, or volunteering at local events throughout the year. This hands-on approach helps them to further understand the community priorities and be highly responsive to the needs of the community.

Monthly Board meetings are held to discuss policies, monthly board reports, funding, up-coming events and any other relevant business.   We also have an Annual General Members meeting where we invite everyone from the community to join us for an update about progress the Trust has made throughout the year.  Our AGM is held in July of each year. 

We update our Growing21 social media pages with relevant dates and you can also sign up to receive email updates to be kept informed.

We encourage everyone within the community to become a charity member of Growing21 as this ensures that you have the opportunity to help drive the charity forward and input into the priorities that you believe are important for our community.  Membership costs £1.50 per year and additionally, becoming a member allows you to shop in Ruchazie Pantry as often as you want!  Simply pop into the Pantry to ask about becoming a member and our team will be more than happy to assist you.
